Hi There! I’m Ange, the Founder and Owner of That Pilates Project. I have had quite the health and wellness journey, having lost over 23kg’s and going from a junk food addict to someone who focuses on nourishing my body with good whole foods (and a little bit of chocolate, okay and a margarita or 2). I am incredibly passionate about health and wellbeing and just enabling people to move fearlessly. I first found Pilates when I was training for the Honolulu Marathon and became injured due to over-training. Pilates became the perfect complement to my running and I loved it so much that I decided to train to be a Pilates instructor. Pilates is great for longevity of the body and creating the mind/body connection. I train everyone from special forces soldiers to seniors and everyone in between. I believe that movement should be fun and enjoyable and that it should serve our bodies for the future. I understand that people exercise for a number of different reasons, whether it’s to lose weight, improve injury or for a mental release. I move for all of the same reasons and love to work with my clients closely to understand their goals and work with them to achieve those. Having a corporate Banking and HR background, I understand how much exercise can be a stress release as much as a physical practice.
Our philosophy at TPP is focussed, fearless movement and of course adding fun to that!
